This is the final project submission for IS608, a required course in the Master's Degree in Data Analytics program at SPS CUNY. A list of projects from my fellow classmates can be found here.
Here two maps are presented. The first map is of per-county estimated energy consumption (in MWh) in the United States in 2012. The second map is the same as the first one, but normalized bu county population. To see a deeper discussion of how this was made and what data was used, please check the full iPython notebook. All the code and data is hosted on Github.
